Good day, dearest readers!
Before I start writing a report about routes and trips I want to announce a special branch of this blog: The topic of home trips!
Have you ever notices that most people go to holidays, are fascinated from the surroundings and sights there and take lots of photos, but aren't interested in their home at all? Okay, I can understand; you're too busy in your everyday life and so used to everything around you that you consider it as not interesting - but that's the wrong perspective! Besides to visiting other countries with high plans, start exploring your home surroundings at first - and if you'll keenly look around you will recognize so many beautiful places and things you haven't wasted a thought about before!
That's why I have decided to use this blog not only for reports about my holidays far away, but also as a guide through my home. All entries concerning this branch are tagged with HomeTrips.
As an introduction of where I'm living:
I'm from Germany and originally born in Bonn, but I'm living ca. eight kilometres south in the small village Niederdollendorf. We also have a Wikipedia page if you want to inform more detailed about it (unfortunately only in German). It's very close to the Rhine, one of Germany's most important rivers, as well as it's embedded in the valley next to the Siebengebirge - so we have an equal mixture of forests and fields as well as the closeness to water. Many people consider the so-called "Rheintal" as pretty, and I personally like living in this region. A slogan I'm not getting tired to say is: "I'm living where many people like to spend their holidays."
Because we have many different kinds of nature around here, I'm going to show you many wonderful places, let yourself surprise!~ I will add and explain everything I know about the visited places to make it more interesting for you, but the focus shall lie on the impressions of the photos - they can tell more than thousand words, as we know ^^
And now enjoy reading my reports about my trips through my home surroundings - I hope you'll like them! Comments are always welcome~
Let's go~
